Finding Us
The Escape Key, 60-62 St. Andrew's Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 5SF We are opposite the Newcastle Arms pub and above a cafe called Sweet Dreams. Go up the stairs to level 2 and ring the bell.The easiest way to find us is to enter Escape Key Newcastle into Google Maps, Apple Maps or any other up to date sat nav.
Compliance
We expect all members of your group to adhere to our company’s practices and procedures regarding conduct. Foul or abusive language, especially if aimed towards staff, will not be tolerated. Any member of your group failing to comply with the above may result in the game being terminated with no refund due. If we deem any member of your group to be too intoxicated and a risk to their own or our staff’s health or safety, we may cancel your booking with no refund due. For our INDOOR GAMES please arrive on time for your game. We cannot guarantee that you can play if you arrive late. Please do not be late, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your booking, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and no refund will be offered.
There is a lot of excitement in our experiences which means at times it can get warm. We recommend wearing light clothing. Lockers are available for coats, bags and any personal items.
There’s no need to print off this confirmation, simply show us the confirmation email when you arrive.. Don’t forget to bring ID if you have booked discounted tickets such as student or emergency services.
For our OUTDOOR GAMES you can play at a day and time of your choosing. There is no need to come to The Escape Key if you have booked an outdoor game. We recommend comfortable footwear, particularly for our outdoor games.
Rescheduling
If you need to change the day and or time of your booking please contact us. We will do our best to give you a time and day that is suitable but this will depend on availability.
Please note there may be an additional fee for example if the booking is moved from an off peak day to a peak day.
If you contact us on the day of your booking to have a game rescheduled then there is £20 rescheduling fee to cover the staff costs that we would have to run your game.
Cancellation
Bookings may be cancelled by the customer up to seven days before the event in which case a full refund will be issued.
Bookings cancelled less than seven days before the event may be rescheduled for a time and date in the future subject to availability.
Same day cancellations or no shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
