The Escape Key LTD provides indoor and outdoor escape room experiences. All indoor experiences are hosted at our location at 60-62 St. Andrews Street, Gallowgate, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 5SF. Outdoor games purchased are played through third party platform “LoQuiz”. Payments are taken instantly, either through the booking page on our website, or taken manually over the phone or via payment link. ClubSpeedLLC are responsible for processing payments on behalf of The Escape Key LTD. The Escape Key LTD is compliant with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 The Escape Key Ltd. (‘we’) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. 

 This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

• Basic information including name and e-mail address that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.escape-key.co.uk (our site).  This includes information provided in our contact form requesting further services.  

• If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

• Personal Information collated for the purposes of attending our escape rooms.

• We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

• Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders.

• Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.

Where We Store Your Personal Data

 In the course of booking with us your personal information will be stored securely on our private computer system.

 After completion, we archive your data and store it securely on an external hard drive. This data is stored solely for use should there be any need to check, validate or enquire about previous bookings or contact be requested by you the customer. You have the right, at any time, to request in writing, that this data be deleted and we will comply.

 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.  Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.  Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

​The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Cancelling and Rescheduling

Rescheduling

If you need to change the day and or time of your booking please contact us. We will do our best to give you a time and day that is suitable but this will depend on availability.

Please note there may be an additional fee for example if the booking is moved from an off peak day to a peak day.

If you  contact us on the day of your booking  to have a game rescheduled then there is £25 rebooking fee to cover the staff costs that we would have to run your game,

Cancellation

Bookings may be cancelled by the customer up to seven days before the event in which case a full refund will be issued. 

Bookings cancelled less than seven days before the event may be rescheduled for a time and date in the future subject to availability.

Same day cancellations or no shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
