Coronavirus safety measures

The Escape Key  re-opened on May 17th 2021 under advice from UK Hospitality trade body in accordance with government guidance for indoor attractions. In accordance with British Tourism and Visit England's recommendations of March 2022 we have stopped displaying the 'Good to Go' Logo. Listed below are current operational practices and environment. While government restrictions were lifted on 19th July 2021, The Escape key has retained some measures aimed at reducing the risk of infection to those visiting our venue.

  • Escape rooms will be ventilated with fresh air between games. Windows will be opened in communal areas to allow fresh air to flow through the building.

  • We have three waiting rooms allowing different customer groups to be kept apart

  • Hand sanitiser stations outside every game room and also on entry to each floor

  • Clear signage to encourage handwashing

  • Waivers can be completed prior to visit or done contactless at the venue using a QR code
