Coronavirus safety measures

The Escape Key  re-opened on May 17th under advice from UK Hospitality trade body in accordance with government guidance for indoor attractions. Listed below are changes to our operational practices and environment. These measures have bee updated in line with easing of restrictions on 19th July 2021. A more detailed Coronavirus risk assessment can be requested by email.


 

  • Hard surfaces, puzzles, locks and other items will be treated with a disinfectant fogging machine or sprayed and wiped with anti viral chemicals
     

  • Rooms will be ventilated with fresh air between games
     

  • Game masters will wear visors/masks when speaking face to face with groups
     

  • Face coverings are advised in communal areas.  Disposable masks and gloves are available for a donation of £1.00
     

  • We have three waiting rooms so we have reduced the number of games rooms from four to three in order to make social distancing easier

  • Hand sanitiser stations outside every game room and also on entry to each floor
     

  • Clear signage to encourage handwashing
     

  • Table top puzzles and books have been removed from waiting areas
     

  • Waivers can be completed prior to visit or done contactless at the venue using a QR code
