Powerful demons have manifested in Newcastle and are channeling the paranormal energy of the city's ghosts to suck our souls down to Hell.
As paranormal investigators, you must uncover the haunted locations where you meet the characters who retell their dark stories. Solve their tasks in return for demonic symbols that will help you exorcise the demons and save the city.

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, Newcastle is home to some mysterious, gruesome and also very odd tales indeed. The stories featuring in Seven Ghosts North and Seven Ghosts South are inspired by some of our favourite accounts of sightings and hauntings which are widely available to read in books and online.
The game uses an app and the GPS capability of a smartphone to tell the story and guide you through the city where you'll encounter puzzles and challenges. Just like in an escape room by working as a team to solve the puzzles you'll make progress in the game. Starting opposite Newcastle's Central Station and ending in Gallowgate, you plan your own route to historic locations which will also take you near cafes , restaurants and bars if you feel like stopping for a while.

Safety Advice
Take care when crossing roads - use pedestrian crossings where available and don't look at your device when crossing. Be aware of other pavement users. The mmeting point is next to the County Hotel opposite the Central Station. The game ends in Gallowgate (near the football stadium) The game takes between 2.5 and 3 hours to play and the distance walked is around 5 km. Wear comfortable shoes and bring drinks to keep ypu hydrated.
