Open everyday over the summer holidays from 10AM - 3PM, Ouseburn Farm is a charity located just a short walk away from Newcastle City Centre. Entry to the farm is free, but there are additional sessions you can partake in for a small price, like guinea pig grooming, meet the animals sessions, and pig pampering.
After wandering around the farm you can pop into their partnered cafe, Cafe Beam for a spot of breakfast or lunch.

Explore The City’s History in Newcastle Castle
The namesake of the city, Newcastle Castle is a Norman fortress containing a multitude of by-gone stories in its ancient passageways and chambers.
It’s open seven days a week from 10AM to 5PM giving you ample opportunity to explore the history preserved in its walls.
It’s always a good idea to keep tabs on their website as the castle hosts a range of exceptional activities throughout the summer season, from musical performances to summer tournaments and combat demonstrations.
